P&R access errors

I've just had a second user reach out to me (in about as many months) because they're receiving an HTTP ERROR 500 when trying to visit the P&R forum while logged into their account. This time it was Scarlet, but Born N Bled Red was the first person to bring it to my attention back in July.

I know that in Born's case, he could get into the P&R forum when he signed out, but something wouldn't work while signed in. And now Scarlet is reporting the same issue.

I noticed we have a pending board update. I'm not sure if that would fix it or not. If it doesn't, I'm unsure what would be the next best steps to try and address their issue.

This was the exact notice Scarlet received: This page isn’t workingwww.huskerboard.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

It must be related to their settings on their individual computers. I am logged in and can see it fine. If it's one or two users it is probably an individual browser setting issue.

Can you ask them to try a different browser and to make sure they clean out their history?

I will get my tech guy to do the update.

Thanks BRM. Yes I will relay those requests to the second user.

The first user to complain (Born N Bled Red), we had him try that as well as a few other things including:
- test different browsers
- test different devices (phone vs. computer)

- ensure all his devices/browsers were up to date
- clear web browsing history and cache
- testing a different internet connection (WiFi vs. cell data)

Unfortunately, none of them worked.

Also, Scarlet sent me an interesting update just a little while ago saying "I can access if I go through my history and then click through individual topics.  So it seems like just that page is broken, if that helps."

We now have three users who have reported this identical issue - @Born N Bled Red @Scarlet and @DevoHusker

- Scarlet was able to fix it after he noticed he was viewing the site in 'Expanded View.' He switched it to 'Condensed View' and now he can get back into P&R
- I had both Born and Devo try this fix
- Born said he tried this switch and it hasn't fixed this problem (he also pointed out again that this issue is happening across all his devices)
- Devo hasn't seen my DM yet suggesting this fix, so I can report back what his results are

I too initially thought this was something on the user end but I'm a little bit skeptical now that three people are running into it all in such a short time frame.
