Pelini presser...now video linked

Asked if he "wanted" Watson back, Bo said he "expects" everyone to be back. You could almost hear Bo's gears working to find the politically convenient word.
I agree. He was looking for the 'right' way to make this statement. He did think about it for a second.

i would have prefered a "we'll see."......the time has arrived for Bo to be a real head coach, let's see if he can be one...it's now or never.

Today it's so easy for Bo to make the right decision. If he can't make the right move when it's easy, he'll never make it when the choice is difficult.

exactly!

At Pelini's next press conference, and if Watson has yet to be released, our local media (softball lobbers) need ask only two questions.

When will you fire Shawn Watson?

Why hasn't Shawn Watson been fired yet?

Pelini will stew over this effort all weekend, he will then likely visit with T.O. next week, i really expect some announcement no later than January 10th...the search for a new OC needs to begin now, if it hasn't already started, which should have been the case a month ago....i mean, really, did anyone think Watson was going to suddenly improve or change?......as for a qb, he needs to be a competent passer first and a runner second, otherwise a defense can smother him very easily.....TM likely departs or does not play qb next year, kid does not have presence of mind or poise....you either have some of this naturally or you don't.

If you could get Taylor to stay he'd make a great slot reciever for a few mid-late 90's KSU jail break screens (just don't let anyone make contact with him or he'll cough it up.) As for Watson...either change the OC to compliment the line coach or give watson a pass blocking oline...

Why? He wants to run a zone-read scheme. What would a pass blocking Oline do for that?

Once Bo went soft on the Refs with Oklahoma and hasn't thrown any tantrums, we just went down hill. People needs to stay out of Bo's teaching methods and let him be a coach. I am tired of seeing the soft side of him. I could careless if every play he is yelling at the refs.
Nail on the motherf****** head.

x 1,000,000

I said at the time that Perlman made a huge gaffe calling Bo out in the media like that. It was a true administrative misstep. Bo's "tirades" have been insanely overblown. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills and have been transported to a world where he is the only coach who gets upset with players and/or refs.

Oh man, Bo's response to the question about the Navy guy calling a play was hilarious. "He probably coulda called a few better plays than we did." Talk about an outright shot at Shawn Watson.
