Penn State jokes in status updates

I just deleted a stupid assed joke by one of our members in the status updates area. Said something to the effect of, "If older women going after young men are cougars.............are older men going after young boys Nittany Lions?" I think that's a little ridiculous given the circumstances and I deleted the update. Furthermore it appears someone else deleted a status update by another member. Just wanted to let you all know in case some complaining comes down. I'm not putting up with that tasteless bullsh#t given all the crap going on behind this scandal. Penn State has enough problems and we don't need tasteless morons making Nebraska look pathetic right now.

 
I was just going to write something about this. I'm really close to just saying you see anything related to this, i.e. jokes, comments, dumb replies, in refereence to anything Penn St and this scandal with young boys to ban for 24 hours immidiately.

 
I deleted that same one from HuskerJock, I believe. I was leaving when I did it, so I didn't send him a message about it, which is probably why he posted it again.

 
Jock wasn't the one who posted it again, it was a different member. I apologize for not having the name, but it pissed me off so bad that someone would be so juvenile that I just deleted it and posted a status update telling people to basically knock it off. I'll follow your rules Eric.

Please allow those to post about the actual case...guilty/not guilty..........should be thrown in jail forever type stuff. Anything relating to young boys should be deleted and warning and/or temp bans ASAP.

Obviouisly we allow references to young boys when it pertains to the case. use judgement. ...we'll be fine

I find both of your commenbts lewd and disguisting. Not even close to being funny. It was just a matter of time till someone pushed the buttons of indecency....Both of you GM_Todd and huskerholic have been banned ASAP for 7 days. The next comments I see even appraoching this will be banned for much longer. I urge all members of this board to report any and all disrespectful comments toward the vitims of this outrage.

 
Good deal Eric, we have to send a strong message about this crap. Obviously just discussing it isn't the issue, when you start making comments like that.............take a break.

 
What to do about this comment? Seems pretty similar to the ones from GM_Tood and huskerholic.
