Permantely unsubscribe to threads

Is there any way you can permantely unsubscribe to threads? I hate having to remember to uncheck that checkmark so I don't receive e-mails everytime someone replies to a thread I posted in.

I can't seem to find a function in the My Controls...but maybe I'm missing it.

Go into your Control Panel, and near the lower left click the link for Email Settings. Look for the field near the bottom that reads:

Enable 'Email Notification' by default?

Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to.

Uncheck the box if it is checked. As it states, when it is checked you will automatically be subscribed to any topic you start or to which you reply.
