I know nothing about his process. How good does he need to do to get a shot?
There is a D League for the NBA, but playing overseas pays better.Or after the season starts maybe he'll get a shot as injuries create spots. Not sure how that works in the NBA. Many years ago a guy from my high school got some chances this way. I think they had 10 day contracts for guys to fill in a temporary spot. He had 4 of them with different teams, so he actually tied an NBA record (most teams played for in a season) even though he only has 44 career points in 90 minutes. Not a bad scoring rate, actually. Maybe things have changed in 20+ years and each team has something like the NFL taxi squad or MLB farm teams?
Yeah, I'm afraid not either. Especially when you take out the one really good game and get averages of 9.5 ppg, mid-30% from the field and about 25% on threes.I'm not sure that those stats are gonna cut it but we shall see.
