Pizza Subs

Pizza Subs:

I don't really have a recipe for the Pizza Subs, but, here's what I do...

I take a 10 inch sub bun an cut it in half. I toast both halves under the broiler until lightly toasted. Then I remove them from the oven and spread pizza sauce on each half and I put Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on each half. Then, on one half, I put on my favorite pizza toppings and then I top it with the other half of the sub bun. Wrap it tightly in foil and place in a preheated 300 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until it's heated through and the cheese is all melted and gooey. Remove from oven, unwrap, cut in half and enjoy!

Do you have a George Foreman grill? I imagine this would be pretty easy in that, and it would make the outside of the bread crispy.

I use my GFG as a panini press mostly. And for fish. It's great for fish.
