I normally don't even notice since I don't look at my old posts often. Plus, I know whoever is trolling just isn't bright or funny enough to respond.

I took a ton of heat for b!^@hing about someone using the eye roll function to troll me, but that one was egregious enough it was obvious.

The last time the laugh emoji bothered me was when mrandyk quoted and commented a laugh react emohi to a comment I made about Covid entering the nursing home where my wife works.  Douchebag thing to do, but at least I knew who was laughing at it that way.

I mean, most people don't like to be laughed at when they're not trying to be funny, and laughing isn't words in real life either. I'd always take someone arguing with me over it even if the argument is stupid.

I get it but I've become numb to it. It is glaringly obvious that a small handful have been using the laughing emoji in P&R in an overt trolling manner. It's annoying but it would be near impossible (I think) for mods to root it out.

Personally I'd never use the lol emoji in that fashion for no better reason than it does provide positive rep. Once you begin to look at it as the dumb sumb!^@h doing it is giving you positive rep it becomes easier to tolerate.

On a related note, is there a way to make it so that quotes from people you have on your ignore list get ignored as well? It really defeats the purpose of the Ignore tab to just have the same messages from the same group of people pop up when others quote them all the time.
