I'm not sure if you are a liar as knapplc thinks, a dips#!t who doesn't understand simple cause and effect, or you're too invested in supporting "your team" to be able to think rationally. Regardless which one it is, Moiraine is absolutely correct and you're wrong. I'm mostly surprised you can't see it, but maybe you can.

The only other person to spew that much bulls#!t about Russia was Creighton Duke, or whatever the handle was back in the day.
To some extent, sure the US and NATO have increased tension with Russia due to their expansion. BUT they didn't force these countries to join the pact. Russian aggression drove these countries to seek protection from a less corrupt and more prosperous group of democratic nations.

People like that drive me crazy. I’ve seen less of it lately but I remember arguments being made about native Russian speakers wanting to be Russian, even the ones not in Donbas. But, and I know it’s anecdotal, all of my Ukrainian friends who are all from an eastern region (including the ones living in Ukraine) have Russian as their native language, speak Russian at home, and hate Putin. And this was before the war started. They actually still speak Russian but are trying to switch over.
The president they ousted in 2014 was backed by Putin and incredibly corrupt, and so of course when he was ousted he was able to flee to Russia. Putin wants Ukraine’s resources. That’s the end of the story, although he probably wants to add to his legacy too. I refuse to argue with the idiot in P&R but wanted to vent here. I also remember before the war, Russia’s textbooks were rewritten to say that all the Ukrainians sided with the Nazis. The Ukrainians had the 2nd highest casuality numbers in the war fighting against the Germans (behind Belarus), so that disgusted me. (I can’t remember if it was total or per capita or both but for sure it was the 2nd highest per capita). These a$$h@!es living cushy in Moscow calling them Nazis when it was Ukrainians’ grandparents who died in the war for them in way higher numbers. The one friend’s male grandparents were not even able to talk about the war.

This is maybe the stupidest point I’ve seen someone try to press on here for months.
It’s the f#&%ing law. It’s not dems doing something shady. Of course I wouldn’t expect Rs or RFKjr fans to know the difference. Laws and facts and stuff are not their cup of tea.
And the butthurt over an 81 year old man finally deciding to get out of the race and the attempts to make that look like some kind of shady deal are laughable. It is so weak and transparent. While JB was in the race, all Rs could do was say he’s too old, he should get out. Then when he does that very thing, and his replacement immediately starts doing better in the polls then it’s all :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh oh the dems are cheating, the dems are shady. What a f#&%in joke. Get an actual argument that isn’t so blatantly stupid and partisan. But be sure to act like you were wronged and mischaracterized somehow in process. SMFH.
