Now that the season is over (well, for the Huskers...) I wanted to revisit our decision about keeping politics out of the status updates.

Initially, I think we told everyone it was primarily for the football season. However, I was pretty pleased with this decision throughout the season and personally feel it'd be a good idea to maintain this limitation. It seemed like we had much less spillover and fewer problems to deal with. Obviously, all the football stuff was mostly responsible, but I'm a fan of keeping things as is in this regard.

(This was all prompted by a status I locked about 'snowflakes' today, btw)

I think now that people have kind of gotten used to it we should just keep it like it is.  I don't think anyone was really put-off about it and there were several people commenting that they didn't like seeing them there.

 
Toe is toeing the line pretty hard (no pun intended..... OK ... maybe a little bit).

I think his last two status updates go beyond just noting what is going on.
