I have agreed with former in the past as well, but I happen to vehemently disagree with him 98% of the time.
Usually, I try to weed through most of his rhetoric and narcissism. I tend not reply to his bantering of BC, for I don't care if he likes him or not. This being said, I do feel that I agree with him a lot more than others do. That is not really front page news. Maybe this is because I do not automatically disconsider what he has to say. Most of his posts are very negative and an attempt to egg people on, but not all are without some rational thought. It is these that I have a tendancy to agree with more frequently.
I ask you this because formerfan has been derailing threads left and right and you have been following right after him cheering him on.
Cheered him on? Left and right? I happened to agree with him a few (very few) times and I am cheering him on? Like I said, maybe I tend to agree with him more than others, but I will not negate my own opinion based on the consesous opinion of FF. I have probably disagreed with most people on this board at one time or another, but it is funny, that I receive the most flack if I happen to agree with FF on occasion. For this, I get called a sidekick? Sticks and stones........
If you wanna follow the pied piper of trolling, then by all means go right ahead, but don't expect it without any ribbing. It's pretty much moot anyways, from what I read on another thread, I think he is history on this board.
I saw that too. To be honest, if he is gone, I really wouldn't care that much. I agree with you, he is a troll, but if anybody says something that I agree or disagree with, whether it is the likes of Benard or FF, I will only reply with a very honest opinion. I never agree simply to agree, with anybody. Still, if this bothers people, they may commence with the "ribbing". I don't care to be popular, but I do wish to maintain my self-respect.

Formerfan has a track record about having unwavering, beyond a shadow of a doubt opinions on players, coaches, teams, philosophies that he knows absolutely nothing of, and if you disagree, you are wrong and an idiot according to him. If you don't believe me, I think he has about 50 pages+ of posts for you to peruse.
I don't dispute this. I have been around long enough to know what FF is like.
Most people that make opinions of this nature, have something more to base them on other than "well his rivals 40 time from 3 years ago is low and he hasn't played yet, he is obviously not d-1 talent, eventhough I have never seen him play before".
There is no need to expalin to me about what FF does and how he does it. There are a many assumptions and speculations on this board. Mind you, not nearly an brash and consistantly negative as FF, but they are there. I think former dug his own hole by the playing the troll and egging on game. Now it is difficult for most to take him seriously. He receives a lot of crap, most completely justified.
If you wanna go any farther on that, then I suggest you meet me in the woodshed, because I could rebut for quite a while.

Seriously, we will do what we feel is best for the board and anyone can complain to us. FF has complained numerous times about different topics and if he was wronged we supported him. It works that way with anyone. My 2 centavos.
