Possible conference lay out if we join

I'm pretty sure that if we do move, the minute we arrive it's going to be Nebraska/Iowa for all the nickels. It's a rivalry waiting to happen, and given that both teams have been on a pretty even upswing ever since the decline in 07, there's quite a narrative to it.

Absolutely. The question posed though referred to who would be our "every year" game outside of the division we are in...the division included Iowa so we looked outside the box.

I would love this (even more than Michigan) if they joined as well.

Problems come from the fact that in the pods in the first post ND would probably prefer to have Michigan as their out of division team. I'd vote Penn St. or Rutgers.

 
I don't see why. Michigan is 6-16 the last 2 years. Even if they recover, it's not like they're the only 2 good teams in the conference, with Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa, and many of the schools named in the rumors to join.
