Possible to edit time code in a post?

Is there a way to edit the time code in a post so that it falls further down in a thread? For example, some guy messed up the Prayer thread by posting a double line. (He probly didn't refresh before posting.) If I wanted to fix it without simply deleting his post, could I edit his post so it had a later time code, then change the prayer line to be correct?

Probably only by editing the database itself.

The prayer gets messed up from time to time. I think we've usually left it. But I moved my post out of the thread so it's right now.

My gut says it would take a db edit. Probably not worth it if the UI doesn't present an option to do so.
