Possible tOSU QB transfer?

He has graduated in December. He also visited Alabama 3 times to see Dr. James Andrews and see his friend Trey DePriest. DePriest even stated this.

Would Alabama really be interested in Ohio State's third string QB? Would they humble themselves that much?
He'd be the best quarterback on their roster. That statement is ridic.
Best athlete, not best QB
Alabama has another QB on their current roster who is or was a returning Heisman trophy candidate? He finished 5th in the Heisman ballot in 2013.

Derp....
Sorry I missed the inference that you meant on Alabama's team.

No worries Coqui. Sounds like he's staying put at OSU anyway. That whole OSU QB situation is going to be super interesting to watch play out.

Like where Top Gear trivializes the differences between a Lambo, Ferrari, and a Porsche. At the end of the day you laugh because the whole thing is ridiculous in retrospect.

Per the OSU AD, Miller is definitely staying. Urban Meyer will retire at OSU (keep in mind, he could retire at the end of next year), and they might sell beer at Ohio Stadium

As long as Urban is the head coach of the Buckeye's they will be the team to beat in the B1G. Also hats off to Braxton Miller. A lot of players of his caliber might have transferred somewhere else to guarantee their playing time. Classy that he is staying and not seeking a transfer.

I still question his ability to throw at a level in terms of being a division I college level QB. Nothing has been said that states if he can play QB for a full season or not.

J.T. Barrett answer to Ohio State's three-way quarterback question
By Matt Hayes, www.sportingnews.com, June 30, 2015 1:06pm EDT

<snip>

Braxton Miller

Pros: Big-game experience, dynamic ability in the run game when plays break down.

Cons: How healthy is his surgically repaired throwing shoulder, and can it absorb the pounding Miller will take? By the time he steps on the field in September, it will have been 21 months since he last took a snap in a game.

Cardale Jones

Pros: Big arm and deceptive run game ability. A fearless competitor.

Cons: He has started all of three games, and played with the benefit (see: safety net) of tailback Ezekiel Elliott’s huge postseason forcing defenses to play more base coverages instead of mixed, multiple looks. How will he respond to adversity?

J.T. Barrett

Pros: Not the NFL prospect Jones is, but the best dual threat of the group. Made significant strides as a thrower in the second half of the season (see: at Michigan State, at Minnesota in a snowstorm), and is clearly the best passing option of the three. Would have rushed for 1,000 yards (938 yards, 11 TDs in 2014) had he not been injured in late November.

Article says Barrett will be the starter. And not even close.

What do you think Urb does? Miller becomes a WR and either Jones/Barrett starts and the other sits? Or do they play monkey in the middle between the three pregame until they determine a starter?

I think of Miller's shoulder is 100% and he doesn't want to switch positions, he is the starter heading into fall camp.
