Anyone ever have this problem? I post new topics, they show up on the main page under last post info but don't show up when you actually view the forum. They also show up on Today's Active Topics. Happening to me….

Of course you guy probably won't be able to see this post under the mod forum. I think it’s a conspiracy to make me go insane.

I've seen this too. I am not sure how the board handles updates of post counts, whether it does it in batches or after every post.

 
It's not a browser issue. It happens in different browsers and I have cleared cache in both.

I was having issues logging with firefox yesterday, same problem today. I can't even view the board with firefox today. Having to use IE.

I seem to be having all sorts of problems all of the sudden. <_<

Huh. Weird. Using Firefox here and everything appears normal.

 
I'll get over it, I just hope other users aren't having the same issues.

Now I can't view the board with either firefox or ie, having to use Slimbrowser. I'm guessing it has to do with the firewall at work since I don't have these issues at home.

Strangely enough I get different errors, depending on what browser I'm using.

 
Weird. I've not seen that problem at all - I suspect you may be right - it's a firewall or security problem. Doesn't the board use cookies for session states? If so, the firewall may on occasion block them. But if so, it would mean that the "handshake" between the server and your computer is not over a static port, but that the port number changes each time. If so, that would explain why it happens only ocassionally.

 
Still having this issue. I'm thinking it might have to do with the redirect. When I follow a direct link to a post I can get in but if I just try to enter through the index I get the above error message. And then once I'm in and I try to navigate the board half the time I'll get kicked out. I don't think it's a browser issue because I have the same issue with 4 different browsers. Took me forever just to make this post. How f'ing annoying!

Weird man. No problems here. Do you have any other odd problems with other websites or the computer in general?

No problems with any other site and I'm on the internet in one fashion or another all day. This is the only message board I access regularly though.

 
Chad, does Invision have a support site that maybe we can look into for the slack man?

I'm sure he cares, I'm almost sure he set up a random verification script on my login that periodically logs me out and selectively restrict my access just to drive me crazy.

Anyway, wouldn't you have to pay for Invision instead of using a second rate, out of date, hand me down version, in order to receive technical support?
