Prediction Contest

Are we going to open a prediction contest as usual? Are we going to be able to stick to the same "carry over" type or any type of gift certificate/reward? I can put it together, but wanted to check on the status of things first.

Kind of up in the air, I think. There's an issue with getting the gift certificates issued, or issued timely.

Last year, we fixed it at a $30 gift certificate for the winner - no more roll-over. Seemed to go over well - I don't recall a single complaint.

Eric, Chad - any progress? And if so, do we go with the $30 for each contest or do we go back to a "roll-over"?

Hard to say when the gift certs will be ready. We may not even continue working with that company, so lets go in a different direction for now.

Since I still have dozens of t-shirts available, how about we give those away. I realize they aren't the coolest shirts going, but they're free so it will have to be good enough.

Lets give a shirt to the top 2 predictions - no exact match required to win.

Something like:

Free shirt for TOP 2 score predictions!

*Select between 5 styles from HuskerTs.com

*Includes shipping/handling

*All sizes & types not guaranteed to be available

So, eliot, want to set it up? If so, just post back here and I'll get the link set up on the Schedule page. Usually, in addition to the post in the Contest Crib, I also pin and sticky the notice (with a link) in the Husker Football forum. Let me know if you need anything.

For the person managing the contests, please email me (chad@huskerboard.com) the top 2 winners & their email info - and I'll handle the shirts & shipping.

You are slipping my friend. :) I decided to sweeten the pot & get rid of some old shirts. Check my earlier post in this thread for more info.

Crap - missed the "no exact match needed to win" line. I'll amend the current prediction contest to show that.

All that time spent saving the world from the BRIs out there - need to focus on the Board a bit more...

Where is Trevor lately? Is he down in Texas cracking skulls on those nimrods hosting the site? I haven't seen him around much this week.
