Just read this over on Huskerextra.com. Good to see it on here. Lots of those kids can't afford cleats. Good to see him giving to the Lincoln community.

It sends a positive message that our Huskers players are constantly giving back to the community and being a positive role model to a younger generation of kids. Whether it be here in Lincoln, their hometown, or where ever they are now.

yeah, well it's hazing, you know? there's no unwritten rule that says, "this may only be done to rookies." If you're a rook it's par for the course, and beyond that it shouldn't really happen outside of some harmless fun. Still, it shouldn't happen because you don't allow it to, not because it isn't supposed to.

Prince should find his own rookie to go dish it out to ;)

This sucks for Prince. He's a sophomore and shouldn't have expect any hazing--unwritten rule. If he fights back, then he'll be in hot water for any injury. (/pun intended) What's a guy to do?

Sounds like the rest of the team like Prince, but believe he is too easy-going and needs to get an edge. Nothing wrong with that..........
