Promote post to article

What is this thing? Does this give the Mods the ability to create a new headline article, or is this something different?

I clicked the button on a post in the test forums and it took me to a control panel, but I didn't want to start pushing all the buttons without being able to fix what I broke.

This is for the 'Articles' section of the website I discussed a couple weeks ago in reference to the stickies.

(It's under 'Pages', but that can be renamed 'articles'.) We can put all sorts of stuff on here that we would like to have as permanent content (as opposed to threads, which disappear over time) so that they don't have to be stickied.
