Since everyone wants to really know what is going on here it is. I cannot reveal my sources but I have always stated that I have connections and my bitching was going to help. Here are the facts:

Peterson is fired

Tom Osborne is interim AD

Cally will resign within 2 weeks, probably after TX

They are trying to get Bo Pelini

Cook and Buffet said point blank money stops if changes aren't made.

THIS IS FROM THE SOURCE WHO WAS ACTUALLY IN THE MEETING!!!!

Cally also made this announcement to some of his staff and players.

No offense, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Not sure what the point of Cally waiting for 2 weeks is. Nothing worse than a lame-duck coach.

I do hope Watson stays, though...

 
I hope you're right, but who in their right friggin mind that was at some supposed meeting would call and tell ANYONE before a formal announcement was made? There are lawsuits brought against some people for less than that!

I sure hope you are right. If true, think the leaks will begin immediately and we'll soon know if your reputation is tarnished or not. :)

But, why wait two weeks for BC to quit? Will it take that long to get Pelini? Is he in a mood to leave LSU just now? Will they give permission to talk to him just now?

 
Guys I am telling you this isn't a rumor. What I am telling you is from the horses mouth. It is the truth. I questioned the 2 weeks also, but he said it was something to do with the TX game. I think after we lose that one but they don't want to "give up on the season yet" it was the only detail I don't have a lot of.
