I forget if it was a run or a pass, but one of those plays I thought was FOR SURE a touchdown. Can't remember who made the tackle, but he closed five yards on the ballcarrier in about 15 yards of running. 

They were both Hartzog making the tackle, iirc.

Obvious text book targeting, fuh getta bout it!

Ball bouncing around on top of pile with no player down and Nebraska comes out with it, dat der is Purdue ball  :facepalm:

I think the first kickoff fumble overturn informed the muffed punt. The first one they let things play out and got it wrong on the field. The second, they still got it wrong, but there was very little chance of Nebraska coming up with the ball at that point.

I was thinking the second play was a screen with a lot of open field in front of the receiver. I don't remember the run.

This is such blatant targeting. How does not only the replay official get this wrong, but the announcers get this wrong?

Nate Gerry would have been ejected for the rest of the season for that hit.
