****Purdue Game Day Thread****

Rhule would never, ever fire Ed Foley, but could certainly see him retire this offseason.

The coaching staff being so outmatched is troubling.

When I woke up this morning, I didn’t think there was any way that I would be upset after this game. Even with all of our issues, I thought there was zero chance we would lay an egg on this team. I thought there was a chance it could be close, but nothing like this.

The team looks weird. Against the Buffs, guys were firing off the line at the snap of the ball, they were quick and twitchy as ball carriers, the defense played with fire.

Ever since then, the team has played fat, slow, and lazy! It's like they have no fire, no swag, no motivation at all!

Who f#&%ing died?!?!
This team can't get juiced on their own.  I figured road games would be difficult because of this.  CU they fed off the crowd. Last week they fed off the crowd in the first half, but then the crowd started to doubt and the juice leveled off. The team then failed.

I'm telling you, the past matters psychologically to this team, no matter how many times I get told on here it doesn't have anything to do with the present.

I had this team at 4 or 5 wins before the season.

I think I nailed it. No matter the schedule, the recruits, the transfers, the culture is broken. Still. These kids don’t know how to win.

The key difference is colorado has offensive and defensive line quality of fringe big 12/mountain west status.  As we saw last week, big ten lines are a completely different beast that we are simply not ready for, for the 8th season in a row

When they are handing rental car keys out after graduating, they’re going to have to push through past losing trauma and do it with service excellence.

Purdue is selling out to stop the run. They have 5-6 players on the LOS almost every snap.

NU is getting some questionable calls from the refs and if this stops in the 2nd half, there is a good chance this turns into a loss.

I would like to see NU start to run the ball but, based on the way that Purdon't is lining up, Raiola is going to have to beat them with the pass.

The special teams- I don't know what to say. Just bloody awful. Punt them down inside the 10 and you have a gunner standing around in the EZ apparently not watching where the punt will land. Obviously don't get me started on the snap, hold, and kick. I don't know what is wrong with Hohl but can Ottomanelli be worse? I guess so.

Still plenty of time to win this game. The defense is playing pretty well against an awful offense.

GO BIG RED!
