As most of you have probably figured out by now, Purdue is the winner of the B1G championship tounament. They will most likely be a #2 seed in the NCAA tounament. Imo i think it's important to cheer on Purdue and hope they can make it as far as they can. It will help the conference get some much needed publicity, and possibly spark some interest in fans to support their schools in baseball. I had the opposite view when we were in the Big 12, i was cheering against them, more so Texas. And besides it's Purdue, and i don't have anything against them, they arn't really ever good at football (not an insult) and have a senior and junior led baseball team this year, next year they will most likely not even make the B1G touney. So what do you all think? Is it important for them to make a run to Omaha for the sake of helping the B1G? Or do you think otherwise?

I have never cheered for Texas. I hate Texas more then any team in the country. And Texas BBQ sucks KC BBQ is better.

Purdue's never been good at Football? Pump the brakes big guy. You know how Northwestern has been upsetting teams as of late...NU being the most recent victim? Guess who they learned that from?

The Spoilermakers. Seven times they've upset the Nation's number 1 team.

They also turn out some damn good quarterbacks.

Even sweeter...............Deloss and Augie couldn't convince the committee Texas has a birthright to be selected........Sweet !

Michigan St got in as well! Conference gaining a bit of respect this year.
I know...some of us thought early on that the B1G would get at least two teams in.

The B1G isn't the cesspool of NCAA Baseball that some of the gloom-and-doomers want to make it out to be. It just needs someone to wake it up and get it to fight, and between Nebraska returning to prominence and MSU, Purdue, and tOSU making improvements in their programs, the B1G prove they can compete. Plus, the new RPI calculations for next year will help

Now, if we could just get Delaney to get rid of the scholarship restrictions and get Northwestern to either pony up for a legitimate stadium or drop baseball completely...

I will definitely be pulling for the Boilermakers. Here's hoping they make a deep run, and if they make it to Omaha, all the better.
