QB Blaine Gabbert

Of course when Pinkel goes to Arkansas in two years, this will all be moot.
Probably more like 4 years.
Why is the Gabbert thread still getting bumps? Dangit, I'm guilty too!!! Let's kill this thread!
why he is a good player who orginally was coming to NU said he wasn't going to decommit, but then did. I wish he was coming to NU even though I think he is a little overrated he is still a good player. There is no need to hate until he is playing against NU

no need to hate then either. he is just a kid that changed his mind. remember, he didn't pull a Freeman!

:)

Good luck. Bad choice.

Well bad luck so far:

There’s a familiar name in the news out of Missouri, and it’s not good news.
Freshman Blaine Gabbert, the quarterback from St. Louis, underwent an MRI this week on his right shoulder, according to the Kansas City Star.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Gabbert committed to Nebraska in the summer of 2007 while generally regarded as the nation’s No. 1 prep quarterback. He switched his pledge to Missouri in the fall as the Huskers’ season spiraled downward.

Gabbert is fighting this month for the No. 2 job at Mizzou behind Heisman Trophy candidate Chase Daniel. But shoulder trouble is a bad sign for Gabbert. He struggled last year as a senior at Parkway West High School, throwing for only 623 yards before missing the final portion of the season with a shoulder separation. He did not undergo surgery.

That injury will hang with him for as long as he plays.
