QB Dylan Raiola

To which school will Raiola commit?

He was probably going to be ineligible for 5 games at his new HS in Arizona.

There are many reasons for this move. Chief among those reasons being that Raiola wants to play a full senior year of football. In Arizona Raiola was facing a potential 5-game suspension due to AIA intrastate transfer rules. The Raiola family had decided to move from Chandler High School to Pinnacle High School earlier this year and applied for a hardship to be able to play immediately.

The Raiola family met with district officials to plan an appeal to the AIA in May. The AIA informed Pinnacle and the Raiola family that a decision on the appeal would not be made until August 15. That timing was too close to the season for anyone who was involved’s liking, including the Pinnacle head coach and staff. So the decision to move was made first and foremost in efforts for Raiola to get to play and compete for the entirety of his senior season.

“The important thing for Dylan was to be able to compete for his last season in high school,” Dom Raiola told UGASports. “And after meeting with the head coach at Pinnacle, the coach was confident that he’d have to sit out games to start his senior year.”

Is there still a chance here?

He'd be a guaranteed starter from day 1 at Nebraska.

His uncle is on the staff and dad is a legend here. He would get crazy NIL money because of name recognition alone.

There's plenty of young receivers on this team he could build with. 

If you add dylan to the current recruiting class it's top 20 easily in the rankings.

I don't understand how we whiffed so hard here. Georgia has had almost no success building nfl QBs outside of matt stafford. Georgia will not guarantee him any playing time. They have another top 5 QB in the same freaking class. He's not going to get NIL money riding the pine.

For the very little success Nebraska has had the last decade, I would say Matt Rhule did a great job, in such a short time, getting Dylan on campus so many times. Especially with how Frost handled his recruiting. I wouldn’t say we whiffed hard here, I would say the top QB prospect picked a top tier school that’s going to be in the college football playoffs. That’s it. He’s not coming to N
