I wouldn't say we "lost" him if we never actually offered. But, good for him, and best of luck.

 
Kennesaw State is just starting a football program. It will be special for him to be apart of their first signing class and first team...even if it doesn't take the field until 2015.

 
He apparently didnt have a comittable offer to Harvard huh? Id say you take that over Kennesaw St. every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

 
For what it's worth, I've read that he might be closer to 5'11 then 6'1. Not saying that's where stuff went stray, just throwing it out there.

 
actually the ivy league schools don't offer athletic scholarships if it shows an offer from an ivy league school I think it just means he has been accepted to the schools, a scholarship to Kennesaw State is probably a hell of a lot cheaper than paying your way to Harvard

This is true, but between the already generous financial aid packages that all Ivy's offer in addition to the fact that his family's home was cleaned out I'd say that he and his family would be footing VERY little of that bill.
