QB Joe Burrow [Ohio State - Signed LOI]

Poster on another board that knows the family got an update. Here's the rundown:

They aren't thrilled with the hire, Urban will really have to have good reasoning. They are considering other options now. Hard for an Ohio kid to decommit from OSU. They know if they take other visits their offer will probably be pulled so have to really think things through. Nebraska and Houston would probably get visits. They are comfortable with UNL.

Hope this person is right. His own brother hasnt even talked to him about it yet, as of a few hours ago.

I could imagine they are not to happy about it thou.

I could end up being right after all!

 
I feel like the sock puppet is back to his old tricks on a new forum. I feel like were chasing Tressel/Frost again but in the form of an 18 year old QB.

 
This kid would be in a great situation with us. Langsdorf >>> Beck and our QB depth chart is in need of help while OSU is a major traffic jam. Urb is a master of spinning it to try to keep his roster stacked and other players away from competitors but bottomline is there is no room at OSU's QB position for awhile.

 
Wow. There is a lot of speculation going on at huskermax about Burrow.

1) Burrow's family isn't happy with the Beck hire.

2) Beck offered the other OSU commit (Gibson) while at Nebraska

3) OSU has a logjam of QB's

4) A good QB has a chance to play right away at Nebraska

5) Legacy Player

6) Previous staff that turned family away is completely gone.

Those are some pretty good reasons to consider Nebraska if not a different school.
