I don't think Johnson would do to well in a pro style offense like what Miami runs. Maybe they would tweak it a little for him ?

Why not both? We need to reinvent the QB room, and this would give us 3 running QB options in 2 classes.

True, but our big sales pitch to both is that we are taking them as QB’s, so we have to sell that hard. It’s not going to work to tell them hey, we will try you out at QB and if it doesn’t work, we will move you.

Was impressed on his film with how much touch he throws with on his passes. However, would also like to see a bit more zip and pure arm strength in some places too. Overall great athlete, would be solid as a QB or if he ended up switching positions.

Oh... It didn't seem so obvious in your post is why I wanted to clarify on it. 

It's more of a perk that if in year 3 they love it here and aren't our starting QB, they may be wide open to switching to a position of need or where they can get on the field pronto. Maybe that's what you meant though, my mistake.

There sure seems like a lot of smoke around this kid.   He has family at UNL and he knows whatvlincoln is like.

For the record, I would be fine with the #2 dual threat QB.
