3rd and long

If they’re ready now, play them now. There are far too many intangibles to play for two or three years down the road. That worked well in the 80’s and 90’s when TO could take the local farm kids who were happy to be on the team and take three years to get them ready to play their last two. It’s becoming a little like college basketball (1 and done), get the kids in and get them on the field. Win now.Don't you think that maybe this isn't the year thats been earmarked as "the year". Getting guys on campus, building them up, and then maybe getting them on the field is the thought process? I think when Frost was given a 7 year deal, it was discussed and those in the process all agreed that if in 7 things are not better, then things wouldn't get better. I don't think it will take 7 years to get things going, but I have and always have thought it would take at least 4 years to get things going. Forget about UCF going undefeated in year two of that process cause that wasn't against Power 5 teams week by week.
And I don’t see where UCF has anything to do with this. If the young kids can produce better than the older ones, put them on the field.
