Scout- Definitely more a traditional pocket QB. Has the arm strength to make all of the throws. Has a nice release and solid footwork. Needs a little work in looking off DBs and checking down in his progression. A great student and has the smarts to learn a college playbook quickly.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15% Evidently this QB was not happy about Georgia Tech's hiring of an option style coach (Paul Johnson) and is looking elsewhere. It mentions that Sean spoke with Nebraska on Saturday.

this guy seems like he's got a pretty good arm and isnt afraid to run with the ball. if we end up going with more of a spread style offense, i think he'd be a great addition to the team. gabbert who?

 
I watched Renfree in his state championship game, he showed a lot of things in that game.

He has a quick release, leads his receivers well and is not afraid to run.

He does like Arizona State, but they have a bunch of quarterbacks, including Jack Elway (John's son). If he's smart, he'll realize his chances of getting in the lineup sooner will be at Nebraska.
