QB Sheriron Jones [Tennessee Commit]

Tennessee is going to have 30 plus kids in this class. How does a school have 31 last year and 30 plus this year. That is over 60 of your 85 schollies in 2 classes. Did they cut all the fat from the program with the upperclassmen and tell them to take a hike or what. That seems like a ridiculous number. Doesnt seem to uncommon in the SEC though. Our classes reach about low 20' sometimes mid. I know Bo's first year he brought in quite a bit but how do you do that back to back years.

It doesn't matter if they back count them, 85 is still your end game, they had to have cut a lot of players to be able to get down to 85. It's ridiculous.

You have to start to wonder how Tennessee is pulling all these guys. Is butch jones that great of a recruiter? How soon before all these kids transfer out because of playing time

so in 2013 they had a class of 19 regular enrollees and 2014 they had 14 early enrollees. So that class would be 33.

In 2014 they had 18 regular enrollees and have 9 early for 2015 so far. So that class is at 27. That is a little down but still 50 schollies in 2 classes is quite a bit.

Thanks Paul. I am not the brightest tack in the box.

Tennessee is set to sign 60 recruits in 2 years. 32 last year/28 this year. 23 in 2013, 23 in 2012 and 27 in 2011. Doesn't add up.
See Sam agrees with me.

A player of mine went on to play football at an SEC program and they basically forced him to quit or they were going to make his life miserable. I wander if they run a lot of kids off so they can free up scholarships. The kids was only a RS Fresh and was considered a kid that would develop into a quality player.

The kids should be smart enough going in to know that if aren't on the 2 deep by year 2, they will be cut. Or at least other schools should be telling them this.
The rule also is that you can only sign 25 per class.

Now, I think they get by that by only 25 make it to campus in the fall. So...32 kids sign. They then look at who doesn't qualify. If they are still at say 28, then they have to decide which 3 they need to come up with an excuse as to why they aren't coming.

So, a kid signs and that isn't a guarantee you will ever set foot on or go to school at Tennessee.
