I live in Oregon so I can't confirm anything. But a friend from Neb just called and said there is a press conf being scheduled at which time a head coach will be announced. He said it came across the TV? Is there any truth to this? He didn't say when the conf was to be scheduled though.

Nothing has been scheduled, as far as I can tell.

 
The players have a meeting this afternoon where it's rumored the new HC will be announced to the team (but not introduced...yet). But the meeting is supposed to be the standard players meeting where they discuss the players banquet, etc so take it for what it's worth

 
There is no word of a press conference on any local channel website. Nor on the OWH website. This is just wishful thinking it sounds like.

That is a team meeting - NOT a press conference. There may be leaks following the meeting if anything is announced, but NO press conference has been scheduled.

ahhhh.. gotcha. didn't notice the conference part of the question. that being said, I am guessing that is what this guys friend is talking about
