Pretty sure that Quornhusker is one of the banned folks - most likely Abdullah or the other two kids. Email used is from @grandmamail.com, which is used specifically to create temp email addresses for spamming and related items. If it is one of them, most likely they'll soon be in the Woodshed giving +1s or the like as before - without having asked for the password. If so, you can hit him as a spammer or put him on Mod preview and let us all know, and we'll ban the account. Thanks!

No activity from that account since it was made yesterday. Is that common?

Not uncommon, but not unheard of. Given the user name, not a spammer. Like I said, probably one of the banned.
