Racism - It's a real thing.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the case from Council Bluffs just a year ago. Deputy Mark Burbridge was shot and killed, another deputy was shot and wounded, and two cars were hijacked at gunpoint by the fleeing felon, one after he shot the driver in the neck, the other driver was kidnapped and forced to drive away. The suspect escaped after he was being sentenced for an earlier murder...

The suspect, Wesley Correa-Carmenaty (who is black) was re-captured and arrested, without further incident, by OPD later in the day.

Good, I'm glad he was captured, convicted and sent to prison.

I wish that level of professionalism could then be shown unarmed people of color who haven't shot or carjacked anyone.

In reality, what we should be focusing on is why minorities feel unfairly targeted by law enforcement (and the examples that have given them good reason to fear law enforcement) and what society can do to fix the problems.

Let's focus on it! Let's talk about why.

Got a couple of them for you.

First, I'll just leave White House Chief of Staff John Kelly's comments on immigrants here:

I don't know if it's outright racist, but it's sure as hell ignorant. I'm getting really tired of the old white men in this administration talking down to immigrants & telling everyone else how the world ACKSHULLY works.

This guy is apparently a New York attorney. He's been catching all kinds of hell since they found out his identity. I'm not sure it's unwarranted.

The kicker? He advertised his fluency in Spanish on his website.

Mr. Schlossberg is a published author and a seasoned presenter. He is fluent in Spanish, conversational in French and has basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and Hebrew.

Part II:

This POS deserves everything he gets.  I loved watching the second video with his nice little umbrella protecting him.  He isn't quite the tough guy today compared to yesterday.

He's apparently been wandering through society harassing people in public with overtly racist tirades for some time now...

One has to wonder what has to happen to what appears to be an otherwise successful man to make him wind up at this place.

Is he just one of the true believers who thinks that Trump being president really is the all clear for bigots & racists to tell the rest of us how they really feel?

Racist lawyer Aaron Schlossberg will have to find new office space — and an attorney of his own.

The 44-year-old was kicked out of his Madison Avenue work space Thursday after he was was captured in a hate-filled rant at Spanish-speaking restaurant workers — and then a Congressman filed a formal complaint to the state court system’s disciplinary committee.

Schlossberg had been using a business center in 275 Madison Ave. as an office address for his private law firm — but has been given the boot over the shocking video that went viral Wednesday.

He's lost his office and now there's a push to get his license revoked.

Also, this was not his first bout of public racism caught on film:

This guy has major issues that go far beyond just simple racism.

If you notice, in all those videos, he is with a lot of the same people out supporting Trump protesting foreigners.

He's obviously part of a group that does this.

What in the world is wrong with him? He's got a lot of hate & anger in his heart, based on that article. Seems like there is a hole in his life that he is trying to fill with Trumpism & hate of people who aren't like him.

Still, he seems like your run of the mill Breitbart, Trump-loving Republican. These are the elements the GOP has coddled for far too long with dogwhistles to get votes.
