"Focus on younger players" was the only guess I've seen so far.

He was hurt last year and apparently hasn't been that productive this year.  Lost his starting spot last week.

Maybe go out, sign a 1 year deal with a team that will make the playoffs, him on the opposite side of Bosa with the 49ers...

Sign for what, 2 million...go win a Superbowl and then either retire or try and see if you can get one more deal

I was really hoping that he'd work out here, but what a bust. I could see him going to Buffalo maybe. Von is about to come back, and that would be a pretty crazy edge pass rush they'd have there. They can probably get him on the cheap too.

I mean Suh is still out there as well.  I thought for sure he would be on a team and not bounce around through out the league.  5 teams to play for is alot.

Ehh, he played the bulk of his career with 2 teams under big contracts. When he was let go by the Dolphins, he signed with the Rams to prove himself for one more good contract, which he got with the Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl. The signing last year with the Eagles was on a lark (by both parties) near the end of his career.

With non-guaranteed contracts, guys play with a lot of teams if they have a long career. Shoot, even Deion Sanders played for 5 teams.
