RB Sam McGuiffe

I hope to god he chooses Michigan.

1. I would hate to have to have him in the big 12, he would dominate.

2. If he keeps Gray away from Michigan I think Gray and Demmens commits to Nebraska.

Or tonight at 10:30? Wonder if he was having trouble getting the press conference together or if he is having second thoughts.

Will officially pick from USC, Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan and Texas A&M, but I think anything other than Michigan would be a surprise.

Looks like we weren't in the running for him in the end, and you know it's kind of low to be happy that a kid of his caliber didn't commit here, but...hey, if that means Gray will come to Nebraska, it's a great deal! Good luck at Michigan Sam!

 
The family ties seemed to be a huge factor. Also glad he is not in the Big XII but Nebraska would have only played against A&M maybe twice in his tenure and the blackshirts are getting better....

 
I understand it may mean nothing to us, but sam is looking elsewhere cuz carr is out...if we can get a coach first/or is more appealing than michigan's (assuming miles isn't avail) we might have a chance at him.
