I'm not going to make an outlandish prediction here, I mean he did commit to OU. Just hearing that things may not be a done deal just yet, plenty of time here.
I heard OU is just a placeholder...

Honestly though, 3 days before he commits to OU, he calls Bookie the Recruiter of the Year in 2017 on Twitter... I'm pretty sure Bookie will be in his ear until signing day.

Or dare I say it?? Bookie to the Sooners, book it now.

Wonder how well Davis has stayed in contact? Long shot or not you have to try right?

A lot of us faced tougher odds in getting married and managed to accomplish that. Helps me believe that anything is possible.

Oklahoma is about to have a Tom Osborne like drop off. End of an era.
They had a drop off when Switzer left, too. It's nothing new.
Oklahoma isn't currently at the pinnacle that Nebraska was at when Osborne left so maybe the drop off won't be as bad as you are expecting. Also, some schools can actually handle a succession plan correctly or they can just get plain lucky.
I don't think I know of a school that hasn't had a drop off after a very successful coach leaves a team

Oregon's transition to Chip Kelly went well.
