Realistic Coaching Hires with the AD

It is clear he was brought in to build the football program back up. That means Riley is basically already fired without being fired yet.

Chip Kelly, IMO, now becomes a realistic candidate because of the connection from Oregon.

Realistic:

Chip Kelly

Frost

Utah caoch

Navy coach (might be pushing it, but still a solid coach)

His focus will be to build the football program back up so I suspect he goes with someone that is a bright football mind.

This has chip Kelly written all over it

My guess is that Campbell sees ISU as an opportunity to vault him to a much better gig than Nebraska.  If Campbell can win at Iowa State, he'll have the USC's, UCLA's, etc. coming after him.
hahaha UCLA? are you for rel? what makes UCLA so appealing? little brother to USC, no where near the tradition as Nebraska.

Yes he is for real, (rel), it is because of the proximity to recruits.  Coaches look at those type of things.  Tradition doesn't matter to some when we have lost to them lately.

i had thought years ago nebraska should have hired coach snyder ,  kansas states coach....he would have made nu a winner

He would be a good option.  I'm gonna guess that he still has 10 years of coaching in him.  The guy is like Yoda!

You think he's worth 3-3.5 mil.  Based on what?  How much would an actual Chip Kelly cost?  I love the idea of Scott Frost, I'm just not sure he's worth 3.5 mil at this time.

He's likely to be a hot commodity after the season, I think it might take around $4 million.

Fleck was hired for 3.5 at Minnesota, Brohm for 3.3 at Purdue for example.

Anybody who DIDN'T think or suggest that Bill Moos would be the next AD should just take a break from speculating who the next head coach will be, I think.  LOL  I believe that would be almost, if not everyone on HB.
