Recruiting dinner recap

So who was our top recruit yesterday ?

Looks like the warm weather states dominated in recruiting, what I don't understand is why doesn't Hawaii get in on this ?
Westerkamp, Rose, Mcullen. OSU offered Mcmullen as a Soph, and USC and OSU wanted Rose and Westerkamp. Another arguement could be made for Armstrong, he could be the gem of the class if he can continue to play like he did in HS and progress (which i think he will)

Its a really good class when you look at. Siesay and Zaire are good enough to start and play soon if not right away, so they are probably 2 year starters. Even if just the names i mention end up starting for a 2-3 years it will be a great class, let alone the others like thurston, Valentine and whitaker. moore, will probably all see playing time in a few years. Im sure im forgetting others . Armstong is our best recruit, or Westerkamp, or McMullen, or Valentine, or Rose. I think we got a lot of good kids, high character, hard working kids. Excited about the last few classes. We should see it paying off for us really soon.

Because Hawaii has less people than Nebraska. They don't exactly produce a ton of talent.

not true... due to our population being barely a million and the fact that we produce about 12-20+ D1 recruits every year we are one of the most talent rich places per capita in the nation......
Aren't half of those recruits volleyball players?

I +1'd this post. I agree with everything you posted. McMullen will be a very good player for us. Listened to an interview on sport's nightly Wed. night with him and not only will he play, he will be a GREAT representative for the University. He is well spoken and willing to play anywhere the coaches think is best.

Personally, Westerkakmp may be the biggest get. We need that sure hands guy (ala Nate Swift) that you can count on to catch the ball, regardless of how it's thrown. Other than that, I don't have much to add that you didn't already post.

Oh my goodness, a wr who *gasp*....actually catches the ball? I bet he'll be a starter from day one. Swift & Peterson seem like 10,000 years ago.
