McVeigh isn't going anywhere.
Well that's too bad, because he's terrible.
No he's not. He's a sophomore working on his game.
He's a shooter, who brings practically nothing else to the table. He's also been passed up by 3 freshmen, and will probably get passed up by the incoming class. The Webster comparison probably feels natural, but at least with Webster you SEE there was potential there. I just don't see it with McVeigh. He's a horrid defender, looks lost in the post, doesn't handle the ball well, and seems incapable of creating his own shot. If anything McVeigh has shown regression from his freshman year. Career improvement like Webster's isn't the norm, and I wouldn't look for it from McVeigh. I am rooting for the kid though, I would love to be proved wrong.
(I forgot about Fuller, he would be a more likely transfer).
