Recruiting Notes

Watched this guy in the state championship last year. Great player, not at all deserving of a D1 scholarship (at least not B1G D1).
I agree. Fun to watch but not a scholarship. Could walk on but I would think he'd go to a smaller school and get a scholarship.
Hope he gets an offer at a decent school and gets a free education. Life isn't easy on the reservation, so a chance to get out would be pretty cool for the guy.

Michigan transfer Max Bielfeldt chose Indiana over Nebraska. He averaged 8 points and 4.5 rebounds and was named the Big Ten Conference’s sixth man of the year.

Brown transfer Rafael Maia, who showed interest in Nebraska, went to Pittsburgh, where he played in 32 games and averaged 12 minutes and 2.1 points. Tyler Harris was also on Nebraska’s radar, but went to Auburn and became the Tigers’ second-leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points as a regular starter.

“We were in on some quality guys,” Miles said. “But we just weren’t able to get it done, and that’s what it comes down to with this late recruiting. We need a center, and we need to get one signed here late that can be the center point for our offense, our defense and be one of those guys that anchors what we do.”
