Man, I think feel free to go ahead and experiment with this
Nothing proposed is a major change. And I think we all agree that we could use some redecorating or arranging 
The ad sometimes doesn't "fill" whatever that means and their solution is to just occupy the space blankly. I wish they didn't do it this way and maybe we can request a change of some kind. On the other hand, this gives us a good opportunity to be Taylor Swift, and write your name.

Did some reshuffling. Doesn't have to be final but that's what I have for now. Any input or ideas would be great.
Still not sure what to do with Husker Videos. It could almost be put in Husker Football, Other Sports or Tech Central. Doesn't really fit perfectly anywhere.
Also, I tweaked a couple of the forum descriptions but there are several that could probably use some updating. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I wasn't sure what to think about the order. I put P&R first just because I think there is more traffic in P&R. But I don't have a big preference. Why do you think it should be the other way?
I'm not very creative so "Tech Central" is all I could come up with. I'm sure someone else can come up with something better.
I was kind of on the fence about adding Football to Recruiting. I think it's pretty obvious to most but we do have other recruiting forums/threads. What do others think?

It could be for the simple reason that was where it's always been. Might appear out of place for some people. I could also see that maybe the Big Red Lounge could be more appeasing to be at the head of the Other Stuff than P&R. Those were just a couple thoughts that popped in my head.
If there is a way to get different icons for the different forums that B.B. suggested, then we could just keep it as Recruiting with the football icon to distinguish it. Otherwise, I'm fine with it either way.

Adding to the conversation: from a functionality standpoint, P&R seems to make sense as the #1 spot under Other Stuff because it has the most traction of those forums. But, aesthetically speaking, the BR Lounge being #1 also makes sense because this is a "Husker" board. See how it all feels for a bit, perhaps, and then revisit after a few days?
As for Husker videos, I think it's fine as a standalone. The only other option that makes sense to me is putting it inside the Husker football forum as a sub forum.
Lastly, as far as "Recruiting," calling it "Football Recruiting" is probably for the best the more I think about it. Cuts out the ambiguity. The regulars would probably assume it's for football, but newer and/or less regular members might appreciate the more direct title.

I meant "Tech Central" was good without the "- Computers, Games, etc" at the end of it. I like it!
I guess the general lounge always felt like the logical first thing to me, though you're right that P&R gets more traffic (at least currently). While P&R does get more traffic it's also not for everyone.
For the alternate icons, board upgrade is happening soon and that's going to render some of this moot. At least, we won't have our current forum marker icons anymore. Though we can probably save them.
For recruiting, it's totally up to you guys -- I just have always thought of it as the "HB Recruiting Forum", not the "HB Football Recruiting Forum". I don't think it takes a regular to get it so much as it takes anyone familiar with either football or Husker sports. We only have two recruiting forums and since they're not both top-level, it makes sense that basketball is the only one that needs the additional descriptor.

Will this include minimal cosmetic adjustments or more of a total board redesign?
I don't think there's anything wrong with our current look/layout, for the record. But, the current look has been around since about 2010 IIRC.
