RedPhoenix has been placed on Mod Preview for his utter bitchfest of a start here. I talked to him about real football conversation and encouraged him to post something that wasn't an attack on Taylor Martinez. Talked to him for over a week, but he didn't change his tune.

Now he's created the EtherBunny account to circumvent that. All three of EtherBunny's posts continue the theme.

BTW - this RedPhoenix guy is a regular over at HuskerMax. He discusses all kinds of things over at HuskerMax, including politics.

I've been questioning the method of mod-restricting these guys. It has cut down drastically on the derp across the board, but when a guy like RedPhoenix is persistently trying to post here, and seems like someone who may stick around and become a regular-schmegular member, do we just say enough with it and let him post?

So - are they one and the same? I think we still have a legitimate issue here. He was placed on Mod Preview for a reason, and lord knows you tried to work with the guy. So, he breaks the rules to create a new account just to do the same thing we've asked him to stop. In this specific case, I think it's justified. As for in general - if we put someone on Mod Preview and explain why and how they can conform to the Board's expected conduct, and that's enough to drive someone away, I'm also fine with that. It tells me that's someone who isn't going to play nice.

 
I don't go to HuskerMax's boards about ever, but I do know they've borrowed some of my stadium update pics over there. RedPhoenix is one of those guys, which is why the name sounded familiar. I just did a search on his posts over there and he's active everywhere, all over their forum. It's weird that he comes here and is so single-minded.

Could be that it's not the same guy, but someone else from HuskerMax using his name. Hard to say.

I do like the name EtherBunny, though. I thought it was clever.

 
I just made a post about tschu and Army_Allen being good members but RedPheonix seems to have a track record more like CactusBoy. Maybe it's the bias of being associated with HM, but I don't know. A lot of early discipline; he circumvents the suspension and does the same thing. Sounds like someone who is just going to cause legitimate headaches to everyone his entire time here.
