He was committed to Nebraska for awhile.  But ended up switching.

I always find it interesting the love Husker fans have for Sayers.  He was an amazing player and a great person.  But, someone who wouldn't know the history would think that he's an ex-Husker.

Maybe it's more of a "proud he came from Nebraska" thing.
