Ian's pizza is a late night place that's really well known. It's on state street so will be a bit of a cluster F*** but it might be worth it. For more sit down have a nice meal sort of places, I'd look around capital square. I'm a big fan of Graze, but there are other mainstays like the old fashioned that are worth eating at. For breakfast I strongly recommend a place called Eldorado out on Williamson, you need to call to reserve a seat but it's worth it.

If you narrow things down for me a little more, I might be of better help.

There's a husker gathering at the Essen house @ 5pm I'll be there. It's in a bar district so there would be plenty of places to go out after.

Tanners, would put it in the top 5 worst bars in KC. Maybe the Wisconsin location is better than the half dozen or so down here.
