i agree. it was completely sjb's fault. it is funny that if you do touch the football, the punter is free game. it is all or nothing.I hate it when something like SJB's boneheaded play happens. But I can understand the point of the rule. The punter is extended in an extremely vulnerable position. One good hit could easily end a punter's playing days. I think that is why the rule errors on the safe side. And doesn't allow for any contact at all, including incidental, harmless contact. Still, it sucks when a play like that happens to your team. And costs you a TD.
Wow. :facepalm:Well all I can say for lil bro is great job in miami were taught to lay da wood sovi say the punter got lucky for that bullsh*** call but the coaching staff didn't even give him the chance too make it up too y'all husker fans but rather sit him out the whole game but it's cool he learned his lesson u know thats bo n the start husker football way
If that were the rule, how long would a kicker like Alex Henry who was a game changer have lasted? Those guys are way too vulnerable to not afford them the protection.Am I the only one that thinks kickers and punters should be fair game? Should be the same as a QB, you get a step or two after release to hit them

He doesn't post often, but there's a pretty good reason that "big bro" refers to SJB as "lil bro." There's really no need to go jumping someone's sh#t over how they construct a post. His post wasn't difficult to decipher, but if you need it spelled out for you, it goes a little something like this:Wow. :facepalm:Well all I can say for lil bro is great job in miami were taught to lay da wood sovi say the punter got lucky for that bullsh*** call but the coaching staff didn't even give him the chance too make it up too y'all husker fans but rather sit him out the whole game but it's cool he learned his lesson u know thats bo n the start husker football way
Drink a glass of water. Take a nap. Sober up. Then come back and make an attempt at english, so we can finally welcome you to the conversation. Good grief.
Boneheaded attempt in my mind. Just take the ball at that point. But those things happen. I noticed the Wisconsin protector was making a check before that snap. Any chance they half-assed let Babtiste through trying to draw him in for such penalty, if they knew he wouldnt get there in time anyway?
