  His defense does well at times but also got exposed this year. Don’t read too much into the Iowa game. 

The secondary was light years behind last years.  That was a killer.  LB play was very hit and miss as well.  The "exposed" was against more RPO offenses that the safety play in those games was ugly

Carl Pelini and Marvin Sanders are 2 that in recent memory I thought did a great job.  PGA receiver coach Rich Fischer as well.  But yes, the fanbase (myself included) will be calling for their heads in year 2 or sooner...

Busch did pretty good with the disaster he was handed.

I think it would be good for White to stay as you can definitely see improvement with the defense.  But I also thought of Jim Leonhard if White leaves.  He’s a proven B1G 10 DC.

Getting caught up on scheme instead of production seems rather foolish. But idk.

When he got hired rumor was he was the heir to White but can't say I've been impressed at all with him as db-coach. Granted he was a summer-add and could still be adjusting from the NFL game/players, giving benefit of the doubt, but I didn't see anything that makes me want to see dude get promoted.

Oh I agree, but Butler is a former PSU guy and has that NFL background Ruhle likes.

Is he a good coach in a much better conference?  Plus, if he goes anywhere it would probably be the pros.
