Rumors Tony White to FSU

Time to go big and not settle.  It’s not like we overachieved this season and won 9 games and have coaches on this staff that are hot to take the next step.  
 

This is a new era of CFB. Are we going to play or just be a stepping stone for others? 

Opportunity to put together a staff that can win and win now in the B1G. 105 man roster means you need to recruit well, but the portal, and develop the hell out of players.  Missing in the portal will set us back a year or 2 as we put the “wrong” eggs in our basket.

I don’t get it either. Coaches and their career decisions are just about as unexplainable as the high school players decisions they recruit.

How is Walter’s floated after an abysmal job he did with Purdue? Their defense was awful

 I'd gladly take Walters as an analyst, similar to what Saban did with his fired coaches rehabilitation program.

it's just as likely that rhule is 1 step out the door next season if we don't improve... at least FSU has recent success and a bigger talent pool to recruit from.

very easy to see why he'd leave. not to mention we are losing a lot of our key players from this year's defense.

Agree with this, plus if Norvell gets fired, White may be in line to be the next head coach.

Well, he’s going to a program that is a clear step up. Easier recruiting turf and my guess is things have happened behind the scenes with some of rhules staff and analyst additions that probably went against how Tony wanted to build his defense

guy made a step up from Syracuse to Nebraska and is now doing the same to Florida state
