I still want to know on the late hit on the punter. 1) If they didn't touch the ball, it is roughing the kicker. 2) If they did touch the ball, it's a live ball, and we should have had possession when we recovered it. Am I wrong here???

Instead of letting Nebraska kneel out the game, he told his defense to try to attack the ball.

That's not cool. People get hurt in those piles of bodies.

If it’s tipped at the line, it isn’t live.

If the punting team recovers a blocked punt BEHIND the LOS they can advance it trying to get a first down.  That is the only way they can retain possession on a block.  Any blocked punt that goes pass the LOS, the ball is dead when touched by the punting team.  The two punts they blocked went pass the LOS and the kicker is fair game when it's blocked
