S Marcus McWilson [Kentucky - Signed NLI]

I've seen it all. Kentucky, a basketball school, stealing a recruit from Nebraska. I really don't understand this SEC circle-jerk love fest each of their members has with each other. Conference pride is stupid, and SEC fans are stupid for perpetuating it in the first place and the rest of the nation is stupid for getting sucked into the hype. It's a top-heavy conference, that's it. Big 10 has better depth. To root for your conference foes in bowl games is absurd. I refuse to cheer for Michigan in any game.

 
Probably stating the obvious here, but is this just about Marrow? I understand the relationship angle, but what about campus life, ya' know that little thing called school? The main reason you're supposed to be going to college. The entirety of the program you decided to pledge your allegiance.

Like someone else basically posted, been engaged with NU (I would hope for everything associated with NU, not just where he stands on a depth chart) for appx a year, and now a less atractive girl comes along and you're considering dumping the year long relationship to marry her because she maybe laughs at more of your jokes or some other seemingly small reason? Hmmm. (I understand I can probably post some of this about most recruits that have been committed to a specific school for a lenghty period.)

This is a kid who has come out time and time again against the recruiting process saying that he doesn't like it or the social media that follows it so religiously. That is the highest of character kid that you can find. So when he tells Nate Clouse, although he is a reporter, that he hasn't committed, you don't jump to conclusions.
