S Su'a Cravens [USC Commit]

is he still visiting? because i saw on scout's big red report that he is still considering UCLA and OSU. and in the message board they said it's a 50/50 he'll even come. i hope i'm wrong

Mitch Sherman said on 1620 yesterday that Cravens is a shoe in for USC, so don't hold your breath on him committing to us in June.

Everyone keeps saying that just getting a recruit like this to visit and bein the top 3 or 5 or whatever is a positive, but it simply isn't good enough. We need to land one of these elite players eventually, then hopefully that will start a trend where we get a couple each year.

 
I think the better shot is easily Mathis. Think Su'a wasn't always a pipedream, but it is extremely tough to beat out U$C for California talent at the moment. These kids grew up watching Reggie Bush, Dwayne Jarrett, and the like winning Natty's.

 
ya its obvious why waste his money on trips to nebraska and michigan when he already knows what he is gonna do. We have wasted way too much time talking about him and if we could land him when in reality we never really had much of a chance. Lets get back to talking about recruits that we do have a good shot at

 
We had almost no shot at this kid from the start so oh well....

The only thing we had, and the only reason he even considered us, was that his friend and former teammate Corey Whitaker signed with us.

Bo Pelini and Nebraska will NEVER sign these truly elite players until they start recruiting like SEC schools and U$C...paying them thousands of dollars each month.
