Hung out with Matt Finnin tonight and he said santos left due to academics.

Is Finnin liking the new staff? Knew he was one of the guys crying on twitter about Boner Pelini

He said they all really like MR. Also said Leroy left due to failed drug test but he said it was weed not roids.

I always kind of liked the guy and had high hopes his 1st few years. I think the injury basically slowed his development, but he still was a gamer. I think he'll be missed this year until someone else steps up.

This is correct, however Damon Benning is speculating there could be 3 more departures. And there's been whispers of a LB and OT coming in from JUCO and playing this Fall. Sounds like there is still some things in flux in terms of the final Fall roster.

Seems like if all the rumors we have heard at some point were true, then we would have 2 Qb's left on the roster. Everyones name has been mentioned as a #2 to Tommy or departing at some point.

I'll be the first to admit that I thought Stanton would transfer. Wouldn't blame him a bit.

I do think he has potential. Unfortunately, that's about all he has right now. Hopefully he can pull it together and push for a spot.
